If you have followed me for a while, you know I love my Warby Parker glasses! So I decided to try out their Home Try-On program again. The sun doesn’t disappear with the calendar turns to fall, so I thought this was the perfect time to try out some prescription Warby Parker sunglasses. (Especially since we’ve used less of our flexible spending account this year due to COVID, giving me some money to play with!)

Warby Parker Fall Collection
Before we get to my choices, I encourage you to check out the Warby Parker Fall 2020 collection. It features new shapes and sizes in tried-and-trusted hues. The palate of greens and tortoises drive home the earthiness of these designs. Starting and only $95 per pair, you can afford to update your look for the season.
The new styles include glasses and sunglasses, both available to try on at home for free for five days. I went to their website and chose five pairs of sunglasses I liked. Due to some delays and high demand, not all frames are available for the at-home trial. But if you have an iPhone X or above, you can try them on virtually. The good news is that you don’t have to leave your home to find the perfect-fitting frame with Warby Parker.
Why I Need Prescription Sunglasses
My mom and sister have touted the benefits of prescription sunglasses for years, but I didn’t think I needed them. I wear my contacts most of the time, so regular sunglasses are perfect for driving, going to outdoor events, and walks around the neighborhood. Since 2020 has meant more time at home, I wear my glasses more. Plus, I saw an article in the New York Times about how glasses may reduce your chance of getting coronavirus. Even more reason to wear them!
But I get frustrated when I transition outside where it’s sunny in my glasses. It means I either squint (and give myself more wrinkles than necessary), put my contacts in, or put on sunglasses and not see well. Not great options.
Home Try On of Warby Parker Sunglasses
Enter Warby Parker sunglasses. With prescription lenses that keep the sun out of my eyes, I get the best of both worlds. (If you don’t need corrective lenses, you can also order a non-prescription pair.) And since I get five days to wear them around, I can see which frames are my favorite. Plus, I can get some insight from you!
My Home Try-On consisted of the Barkley, Downing, Haskell, Laurel, and Raider. I keep going back and forth on which pair I like best. Which one is your favorite?

The Laurel is two-tone and fun and Raider is a fun aviator style. Downing and Haskell are classic with an interesting bridge detail. And Barkley is matte. I’m still undecided. Good thing they give me five days to try them out!
I love that I can try on Warby Parker sunglasses (or regular glasses) at home to find the best fit. It’s nice to know I can get affordable and stylish frames without sacrificing quality. And it’s a fun way to go shopping in a post-COVID world!
